Enterprise Acquisition Executive - Successful candidates will have a measurable track record in New Business development real Hunter profile, managing, and delivering high performing sales results. This individual will play a key role driving a significant share of revenue for Splunk.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

Consistently deliver aggressive license, support and service revenue targets ? commitment to the number and to deadlines

Account penetration, account planning and opportunity management

Negotiate favourable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI

Work with partners for maximum effectiveness

Leverage sales engineering and in-house as well as partner services resources

Use our sales methodology and processes effectively

Understand how to leverage both international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and value to the customer

Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly product management and marketing

Required Skills and Experience

At least 8 years hands-on direct sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of individual, above-quota software sales, worked through a 2 tier distribution model. Demonstrated ability to understand business issues, apply solutions to solve the issues and define the resulting value proposition.

Skilled at creating new business opportunities and developing and executing complex selling strategies to win business. Knows how to partner and to build trusting relationships.

Has sold separate value propositions to multiple stakeholders, including C-level execs: CISO, CIO, VP of Operations, VP of Development Operations, VP of Business Intelligence.

Proven success in selling the value, finding budget, and convincing the prospect to invest. Demonstrable track record in a market creating demand rather than fulfilling demand.

Ideally the candidate should have a good understanding of the security ecosystem, operations, dev ops and analytics space.

Experience in selling an integrated platform and analytics, experience with SaaS a plus

High energy, internally driven, passionate ? eager to tell our story.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical and business issues clearly.

Ethical team player motivated not just by landing the sale, but by high Customer and Partner satisfaction throughout the relationship
